Born and raised in Haiti, Aliénor emigrated to Canada 5 years ago. As a private markets investor, she currently focuses on executing M&A transactions in the agriculture and seafood industries. In her role, she is responsible for deal execution from sourcing through valuation, deal structuring, negotiation of terms, reviewing legal documentation and conducting detailed due diligence. She also represents PSP Investments on various boards as an observer and on investment management committees for diverse agriculture businesses.
Prior to joining PSP Investments in 2016, Aliénor started her career on Wall Street at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group supporting top tier Private Equity firms across M&A, debt, equity (IPOs/Add-Ons), dividend recapitalization and restructuring solutions. She also worked as a Corporate Banking Associate and managed a Private Debt portfolio for Media and Telecom clients.
Aliénor holds an MBA in Global Strategy & Leadership from McGill University and a Bachelor’s in Finance & Accounting with a Minor in Spanish Literature from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Supporting women seeking finance careers is a cause that she is particularly proud of. Aliénor plays a leadership role in mentoring McGill students seeking sell-side and buy-side finance opportunities. She also recently served as a panelist on the “Flash Finance panel: Spotlight on Capital Markets Careers” organized by Women in Capital Markets.
Passionate about promoting inclusion and diversity, Aliénor serves as a leader on the Inclusion & Diversity Committee at PSP Investments, sat on the Board of Directors of the Jeune Chambre de Commerce Haitïenne (JCCH) from 2015-2017 and served as a mentor for young professionals of the JCCH. Aliénor is currently a board member (governance committee) of Conseil des Arts de Montréal.
