Married and father of 3 children, Bamba Sissoko was born in Mali. At 17, he received a scholarship to go to France. At 22, he immigrated to Quebec. Bamba Sissoko has been VP IT at Transat for 4 years. In this role he is responsible for the implementation and evolution of all IT solutions. These solutions cover sales, passenger management, inventory management and decision support processes as well.
Prior to that, he served as Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture for 8 years, where he led the modernization of core business systems. Academic background He graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal in Information systems management in 1997.
Bamba is recognized as an expert in travel technology.
In 2017, he received the ‘Professional of the Year’ award from the REPAF (Network of African Professionals). As a volunteer, he made several trips with the United Nations, in his country of origin to give courses to graduates in IT Management He gives coaching to several young people who are at the beginning of their careers.
